How do i start tracking my expenses? May subject po kami sa high school na accounting pero hindi ko na siya na aalala. Pahingi naman po sana ng tips for basic accounting

Kailangan mong i record or journalize mga expenses mo mapa pagkain man yan o gamit then analyze mo yun every end of the month para sa susunod you can easily budget ung income mo or allowance

Think you can break down spending even further than 60-40.

You can go 40-20-40 (Needs-wants-savings), and then break down what is necessary and how each is viewed e.g. a good meal once a week is a want vs groceries for cooking (need).

But you'd need to know how you spend and on what you spend, so good to start recording to see where you can save and what you absolutely need.

I just use an app to write down all my income and also expenses, it's pretty usefull

it starts with taking notes, simpleng pagsulat lang sa paper or pag input sa notes sa phone.
